BU Partnerships

Bahçeşehir University has Bilateral Exchange Agreements with international universities worldwide. BU students planning to study abroad may apply to several of our partner universities for one semester or an academic year-long exchange. Exchange students selected by their home institutions to study abroad at Bahçeşehir University must meet the necessary language requirements and may directly apply through BU’s International Office. In the 2010-2011 academic year, BU is hosting 41 students from partner institutions.

Bahçeşehir University has partnership agreements with a number of universities in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Keeping in line with our aim of becoming the leading international university in Turkey, we hope to add more universities to our list by increasing the number of partnership agreements. Our current active partnership agreements with international universities number 42. In the upcoming years we expect this number to increase dramatically.

With nearly 100 international partner schools around the globe, Bahçeşehir University offers its students the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of studying abroad for one or two semesters. Our university hosts international students from all over the world and welcomes them to study in the heart of Istanbul, Turkey.

In addition to the Erasmus Program and our partnership agreements, international faculty members from around the world come to Bahçeşehir University as guest instructors. Likewise, Bahçeşehir University faculty can act as guest lecturers and speakers at our international partner schools.
