Our faculty which started to operate in 2000-2001 academic year, raises high quality young lawyers who knows the Turkish positive law as well as universal law principles and comparative law very well and has the ability to utilize at least one foreign language in professional life. Bahçeşehir University, Faculty of Law has the criteria of becoming an assertive education institution in the world standards in the field of Turkish law as well as international law and comparative law systems through its academic staff which have a corner in their field.

Bahçeşehir University, Faculty of Law applies an education program which gives place to compulsory courses that must absolutely be in the program of faculties of law and a balanced combination of elective courses such as virtual court and clinical courses managed by specialized appliers linked to especially foreign law systems and applied law as well as it contains Legal English.

Bahçeşehir University, Faculty of Law has been forming its schedule in such a manner to include international law more as of its first year of establishment. Relations with faculties of law in Europe are founded within the scope of Erasmus program and student and faculty exchanges are conducted termly. Besides adopting different legal systems, agreements are executed with American faculties of law, in addition to increasing the students’ professional English language experiences, they are provided to learn foreign law to some extent via Global Legal Programs Directorate (IGUL). Our faculty has been integrated into international law education by including the courses in faculties of law, with which we agree, into our program. Our graduates are accepted into master and doctor of philosophy programs in faculties of law at leading Europe and America.
