The Information Technologies Service Management(ITSM) Program falls into the framework of IBM promoted Services Science, Management and Engineering (SSME). The Program will train students so that they can examine key issues such as services efficiency and services innovation in the field of information technologies with analytical rigor. Graduates of the program will have a strong understanding of both business and technology and will be able to adopt a customer oriented approach to all problems in the field of information technologies. This will ensure that services are rendered with higher quality, more effectively, and with better forsight.
The program consists of 14 courses plus a graduate degree project (Minimum requirement for earning a Masters degree is 30 credits plus completion of the project). Students successfully complete 8 on-line NU courses, 6 courses taught by BU on-campus, and write and complete a graduate project in order to meet the joint program degree requirement. The normal period for the completion of the program is 4 semesters and the maximum duration period of the program is six semesters. The program is in English. Proficiency in English language is an admission requirement. The students must have one of the following English language test documents: TOEFL (min173 CBT) and for Turkish candidates only KPDS (min 65), UDS (min 65). Students not meeting these language requirements will not be accepted.
M.Sc. degrees will be awarded upon the successful completion of all requirements such as completing the course work, writing and defending a graduate project.
