Software Engineering Department carries out researches on computer sciences and software engineering. Studies focus on the following branches:

• Software and information technologies architecture

• Web and game programming

• Data mining

Researches on software and information technologies relate to subjects such as databases, database programming, software project management, measurement and test. Studies on web and game programming concentrate on improving graphics and animation on computer, interaction between human and computer, and designing and improving electronic and distance learning environments.

Data mining researches include modeling studies such as questioning data warehouses and giant data bases, and segmentation, cluster, prediction of data by using fuzzy logic.
