Energy Systems Engineers aim to provide a sustainable supply of adequate, good quality, low cost, and environmentally friendly energy from all available sources. They are responsible from all aspects of energy such as production, distribution, and consumption of energy at both national and international level.

Energy Systems Engineers are in high demand both locally and internationally since energy plays an important role in determining the strengths of countries in free market economy and it is an important part of EU adaptation process for our country.

Our department plays a leading role in energy education being the first Energy Systems Engineering Department of the country. Energy Systems Engineers  can work as designers or operators of energy systems in production, distribution and comsumption. Our country serves as an energy bridge between three continents and Energy Systems Engineers will be needed for projects in this field at both national and international level.
