Industrial Engineering is an applied branch of science which designs and applies the systems that utilize such human resources, knowledge, and fools and materials needed to design, manufacture, and distribute products and services in the most efficient manner. In Bahçeşehir University, Industrial Engineering Department targets the unification of human resources and low-cost systems in the fields of consumer products manufacturing, energy conversion, agriculture, health services, communications, and transportation. It increases the productivity and competitiveness of organizations. The principle of education in Our Industrial Engineering Program is to create leaders of the future who apply current development and change with teamwork.

The curriculum of Our Industrial Engineering Program starts with mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computers to provide a solid background. Then, the Industrial Engineering knowledge base of the students are solidified through courses that include the goals and roles of Industrial Engineering, Production Measurement and Development, Method Analysis, Work Measurement, Layout Design, Ergonomics, Work Design, and Cost Control. The courses on Business Management and Economics make this education multi-dimensional. The most recent technological and scientific developments, such as Flexible Manufacturing Systems, Concurrent Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Intelligent Manufacturing Systems, Total Resource Management, and Technology Management are followed closely in the department and introduced to the students. By applying the learning with industry? methodology through the protocols assigned to high-technologies, such as CAD-CAM and Robotics are introduced to the students.
