Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design

Bahçeşehir University Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department aims to educate professionalists, who have self-confidence, internalize universal knowledge and values, command modern educational technologies by enriching them with broad abroad connection net and advantages of being at the centre of Istanbul the world city which hosted various civilizations for centuries.

Among the basic features of Interior Architecture and Environment Design undergraduate program, which aims to integrate environmental planning with aesthetic information, improve authentic and economic solutions, are;

• To make a study on indoor design,

• To design authentic furniture and stuff and to make samples of them,

• To earn a new usage identity to structures that lose their functions,

• To make arrangements in interior parts of old structures determined as historical building,

• To set standards for environmental design sensitively,

• And to produce all these works by using modern computer and education technology.

Theoretical and practical courses performed with students in studios are taught by rich academic staff that are professionalists of their own field and have various experiences in national and international fields.
