Department of Design of Industrial Productions

Design of industrial productions is a working field providing transformation of creative thinking into serial production beneficiary for user and producer after integration of function, shape, value and identity concepts.

Bahçeşehir University Industry Productions Design Department’s education is performed at the center of Istanbul the capital of design in Turkey and the world city. This program aims to provide necessary facilities for designing and improving socially and culturally sensitive, aesthetically suitable, innovational, useful, safe products.

Design of industrial products program focuses on interdisciplinary approach during product development by cooperating with visual communication, engineering sciences and business administration. It is envisaged that students will be educated within a wide range of subjects like user researches, design methods, developing innovational opinion, forming prototype and modeling on computer during this period.

Adopting design phenomenon as a country policy is a must for our country within a period of industrializing to resist competition conditions of the globalized world and to have an international identity. Our goal adopted within this framework is to be open for cooperation and projects at national level for integrating design of industrial products to industry policies. Other responsibility of us in relation to education is to use the whole world as a campus site with our international cooperations and to open our campus facilities to the whole world. Agreements with "Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University" and "Domus Academy" show our dedication.
