Economy is a branch of science that investigates the whole production-consumption relations of the human beings that is necessary for their existence. The department of Economics aims to provide a strong economic education which is based on theoretical and practical subjects and to improve the analytical thinking capacities of the students on the economic and the political problems.

Our program is designed to provide the students the mathematical and statistical knowledge and talents that is necessary for analytical and quantitative researches. The rapid changes in the financial markets and the globalization phenomenon take up an important place in the program. One of the main goals of the program is to educate students who possess in-depth knowledge about the news of Turkish, EU and world economy and to fulfil the needs of national and international demands.

In order to realize this goal, the Must courses such as Mathematics, Statistics, Business Management, Financial Management, Micro- and Macroeconomics, Operation Management, Strategy, Econometrics are given to the students as well as the elective courses which will let them to complete themselves socially.

In this way our student who are fully-equipped during their education lives will be able overcome the crisis situations that they might face during their working lives. And they will always use the advantage of being a graduate of Bahçeşehir University.  

Moreover our graduates will have the possibility to find a job in a wide range era such as public sector, financial markets, banking sector, private enterprises etc.
