In today’s world it is impossible to be successful without foreseeing the future, conducting analysis and synthesis and being close to the technology.

Bahçeşehir University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics & Computer Sciences gives the student a strong mathematic infrastructure to improve his skills about thinking creative and independently, evaluating and reasoning while it gains the required education and skills at the fields of information technologies, software and finance. For this purpose, the following programs are carried out in the department on the bachelor’s and master’s degree:

• Mathematics & Computer Bachelor’s
• Mathematics Bachelor’s
• Applied Mathematics Master
• Actuarial Certificate

Actuarial Certificate Program is a program aimed to enable students to take their first steps in Actuarial which is in the top three in many countries and generally in top ten occupations, and Actuarial Science is also linked to our Master’s program. This certificate program does not burden any additional credits on the student.

Students in Mathematics & Computer program can have the opportunity to meet current areas such as Finance, Mathematical Biology and Mechanics Learning which they wish to specialize in the future in their elective courses of the department in addition the compulsory basic courses or they can direct to theoretical mathematics, computer or software oriented courses. Our students can also get prepared for the professional life by entering the COOP (Cooperative Education Program).
