The General Education Department conducts the coordination and application of interdisciplinary courses designed for the aim of raising individuals who are fit into society, interrogant, can look from different point of views, conscious and well-educated no matter what their careers are, and render services to all faculties. In the organic education programs designed, the students are aimed to be raised by;

• Having a strong historical knowledge,
• Equipped with art and culture,
• Able to speak a second foreign language other than English,
• Having the knowledge about intercultural and international world,
• Fluent and skillful in Turkish.

Courses presented within the General Education Program enrich the knowledge of students in various science branches while forming an infrastructure which allows improving their skills about evaluating various subjects critically. Another aim of the program is to get students the ability to arrange and present their thoughts and at the same time gaining them a different academic sufficiency.

On the other hand, the GE courses enables students to know each other better and exchange mutual knowledge by combining students from different academic programs together. The Program allows the students to meet other branches other than their major branch and aims to gain them a wide range of culture and knowledge store by giving them a vision through different lessons they elect.
